Sudeep Basu, Lecturer

He completed his M.A.and M.Phil. in Sociology from the Delhi School of Economics . He obtained his B.A. in Sociology from Sri Venkateswara College, University of Delhi(stood first in the first class). His Ph.D dissertation is on 'Tibetan Diaspora in India' where he is exploring the question of identity , difference and the problem of solidarity within an exile community.

He has experience of both teaching and research. He is a Guest Faculty at Jadavpur University . He has worked at the Institute of Social Sciences, Eastern Regional Centre, Kolkata and the Centre for Organization Development, Hyderabad. His publications include 'Towards Alleviation of Poverty : Institutions and Social Mobilisation' (jointly with Burra Srinivas), published in the Man and Development journal, June 2002, a review of E.A. Ramaswamy's book Managing Human Resources: A Contemporary Text,(Oxford University Press, New Delhi), published in the Indian Journal of Industrial Relations, Vol.36(4), 2001, pp.514-518.
