PROTIRODHER BISHWAMOYOTA (in Bangla), published by National Book Agency, Kolkata,January 2004 edited by Samir Amin and Francois Houtart was translated from Mondialisation des Résistances under an editorial team consisting of Jayanta Acharya, Somnath Bhattacharya and Bipul Bhattacharya with a foreword by Professor Amiya Kumar Bagchi, Director, Institute of Development Studies Kolkata.

This book analyses the struggles of the peoples of the world against the globalization imposed on the poor people in the interest of the rich and powerful. It contains narratives of struggles conducted in all the regions of the world against rich man's globalization. Separate chapters have been devoted to China, South-east Asia, Israel, Latin America, North America, Eastern and Western Europe. The book also devotes separate chapters to oil, water, external loans, poverty, women's rights and war. Besides these, the challenge of globalization has been analyzed in its financial, social, cultural and political dimensions by the two eminent editors.
